The Affiliate Citizen?

Hi, my name is David Furlow, im the citizen curator of this here blog.

I started my journey into affiliate marketing in 2003 after finishing an e-learning job at the University of Hertfordshire. Im a web developer and general all round multimedia bod by trade who decided to work for himself in an attempt to get the life of leisure he dreams of! Im well on my way there and hope to share some of the triumphs and pitfalls ive experienced in online marketing along the way.

Im by no means an expert yet – you learn something new everyday in this fast moving industry, but I hope to reveal some of techniques and advice that has allowed me to be my own boss successfully.

I currently live in Cambridge having moved back from Norwich in the last few months. I hope to move abroad in 10 years time or so and enjoy the fruits of my labour.

Enjoy (and add comments!).

Dave :)

    Hi Dave,

I run a hotel reservations company at http://www.midashotels.com and we’re thinking about joining an affiliate programme. We’ve contaced a few, Commission Junmction, Affiliate Windows and Affiliate Future and to be honest I’m a bit confused. I’d love the opportunity to talk to you about what’s good and what’s bad with each scheme, and perhaps you can give me an insight into what would work for all the affiliates out there.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Best regards,
    Mike
